These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website (norwichinsulation.com) and any services provided by Norwich Insulation ("we," "us," or "our"). By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at sales@norwichinsulation.com.
By accessing this website or requesting services from Norwich Insulation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or the property owner. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this site or engage our services.
Norwich Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services, primarily in Norwich, CT and surrounding communities.
All services are subject to an in-person site assessment. We reserve the right to decline a job if the conditions at the property are unsafe, if access is not available, or if the scope of work falls outside our capabilities.
Estimates provided by Norwich Insulation are based on information gathered during an in-person or virtual assessment and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates are not binding contracts. A signed proposal or work order is required before any work begins.
Final pricing may differ from an estimate if site conditions differ materially from what was assessed, if additional work is required that was not identified at the time of the estimate, or if material costs change significantly between estimate and installation. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.
Once a job is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We understand that circumstances change, and we will work with you to find an alternative date whenever possible.
If we arrive at a scheduled job and cannot access the property or complete the work due to conditions outside our control, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable trip fee to cover our time and transportation costs. We will notify you in advance whenever possible.
We may cancel or reschedule due to weather conditions that make work unsafe or impractical, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you promptly and offer the earliest available alternative date.
Payment terms are specified in your signed proposal or work order. For most residential jobs, a deposit may be required at signing, with the balance due upon completion. We accept payment methods as specified at the time of your agreement.
If payment is not received within the time specified in your agreement, we reserve the right to assess a late fee and to pursue collection through lawful means. You are responsible for any reasonable collection costs incurred due to non-payment.
We stand behind the quality of our work. The specific warranty terms for any job - including duration and what is covered - are stated in your written agreement. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to sales@norwichinsulation.com and describe the issue clearly.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by conditions outside our control, including but not limited to flooding, structural movement, pest infestation, unauthorized modifications to our work, or damage caused by other contractors working in the same area after our job is complete.
Material warranties, where applicable, are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will assist you in filing a manufacturer warranty claim when needed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norwich Insulation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or the performance of our services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of property value, or loss of income.
Our total liability for any claim related to services we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
This website and its content are provided "as is" without any representation or warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be free from errors or available without interruption. Information on this site is provided for general purposes only and does not constitute professional advice specific to your property or situation.
If a dispute arises between you and Norwich Insulation related to services performed or these terms, we ask that you contact us first at sales@norwichinsulation.com or (959) 234-0488 so we have an opportunity to resolve it directly. Most issues can be resolved quickly through a direct conversation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing litigation. Either party may pursue mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Norwich, CT.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Connecticut.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site to transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content, to attempt unauthorized access to any system or account, or to collect information about other users.
